2017 Annual Meeting of Shareholders
On May 24, 2017, Middlesex Water Company held its 2017 Annual
Meeting of Shareholders at its company headquarters in Iselin,
New Jersey. Announcement of voting results at which shareholders
elected one Class I Director and two Class III Directors;
approved, by a non-binding advisory vote, the compensation of the
Companys named executive officers, approved, by a non-binding
advisory vote, the frequency of the shareholder vote to approve
compensation of the Companys named executive officers, and
ratified the Audit Committees appointment of Baker Tilly Virchow
Krause LLP as the independent registered public accounting firm
for 2017 is described above.

the voting results of shareholders at the Annual Meeting, the
election of directors, the approval of a non-binding advisory
resolution approving the compensation of the Companys named
executive officers, the approval of a non-binding advisory
resolution approving the frequency of the shareholder vote
approving the compensation of the Companys named executive
officers and the ratification by shareholders of the appointment

Middlesex Water Company is a water utility company. The Company has two segments: regulated and non-regulated. The regulated business includes collecting, treating and distributing water on a retail and wholesale basis to residential, commercial, industrial and fire protection customers in parts of New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Its segment also includes regulated wastewater systems in New Jersey and Delaware. The non-regulated business includes non-regulated contract services for the operation and maintenance of municipal and private water and wastewater systems in New Jersey and Delaware. The Company owns and operates regulated water utility and wastewater systems in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. The Company also operates water and wastewater systems under contract on behalf of municipal and private clients in New Jersey and Delaware. Its subsidiaries include Tidewater Utilities, Inc.
