Is Microsoft adding mouse and keyboard support to Xbox One?

A report from Niche Gamer suggests that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is considering to add mouse and keyboard support to the Xbox One console.

According to the publication, the news about the mouse and keyboard support comes via Xbox boss Phil Spencer.

Spencer responded to a fan who asked if the Xbox One would offer any PC peripheral support, specifically for mouse and keyboard, because of the upcoming launch for Halo Wars 2.

“It won’t be there at launch but this is support we’d like to add as it comes to the Xbox platform,” the executive said.

Spencer did not specify the Xbox One, rather the Xbox brand as a whole. But it is safe to assume that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) might add the PC peripheral support to the Xbox One, Xbox One S, as well as Xbox Scorpio.
