Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX) Forges Important Partnerships With Enter And University Of Cambridge

Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX) has declared that Enter has chosen Mellanox Open Composable Networks (OCN) as the Ethernet network for its Infrastructure-as-a-Service cloud services. Enter will use Mellanox Spectrum SN2700 switches with Cumulus Linux from Cumulus Networks in addition to Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx NICs as well as LinkX cables in its ECS.

Enter has experienced significant performance, flexibility and efficiency improvements that come from Mellanox OCNs open design, integration with Cumulus Linux, OpenStack and complex offload as well as acceleration capacities such as VXLAN Offload, RDMA, and SR-IOV.

Enter is a customer of Mellanox utilizing end-to-end Ethernet solutions such as SwitchX-2 bSX1710 as well as SX1410 Open Ethernet switches, ConnectX-3 Pro NICs and Mellanox’s LinkX cables in development. This fresh deal has increased Mellanox’s InfiniBand solution presence and helps the UoC to achieve its vision of HPC as well as Cloud convergence via high-speed cloud networks at 25/50/200Gb/s throughput.
