On December5, 2016, Lincoln National Corporation (the Company)
announced that it has commenced cash tender offers to purchase
(i)up to $175,000,000 aggregate principal amount of the Companys
8.75% Senior Notes due 2019 and (ii)up to $150,000,000 aggregate
principal amount of the Companys 6.15% Senior Notes due 2036. The
tender offers are being made exclusively to an offer to purchase
dated December5, 2016 and related letter of transmittal, which
set forth the terms and conditions of the tender offers.
