Item8.01 Other Events.
On February13, 2017, Lear Corporation (the Company) announced
that its Board of Directors has declared a $0.50 per share
quarterly cash dividend on the Companys common stock and
authorized an increase in the Companys share repurchase
authorization to $1 billion and extended the authorization until
December31, 2019.
Additionally, on February13, 2017, the Company announced that its
2017 annual meeting of stockholders will be held at the Companys
Corporate Headquarters at 21557 Telegraph Road, Southfield,
Michigan 48033, on May18, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The
record date for determination of stockholders entitled to notice
of, and to vote at, the 2017 annual meeting of stockholders is
March23, 2017.
