Kensington Industry (OTCMKTS:KSGT) Rolls Out Portfolio Of Productivity Solutions

Kensington Industry (OTCMKTS:KSGT) is showing off a new range of its productivity solutions at the 2016 CE Week. The products being introduced are docking stations, adapters and laptop raisers. The company has also revealed the pricing of the new products and some are available immediately.

Kensington has said that its new wave of products feature USB-C ports, which adds to the popularity of USB-C as the standard connectivity for professionals. The company says that with USB-C, a user can perform multiple functions through just one cable. For example, USB-C port enables you to transfer data at high speed, charge devices such as smartphones, play music from an external source and output high-quality video to an external display.

According to Kensington, its new range of docks and adapters are designed to facilitate smooth transition in USB connections. In addition, the company said that its new products will see users experience enhanced desktop performance.

Kensington’s USB-docks

Kensington is launching three models of UBS-C docks. The first one is called SD4500 USB-C universal dock that will cost $180 and is compatible with all the popular desktop operating systems namely Windows, Mac OS and Chrome OS. The dock is touted as ideal for simplifying access to external desktop accessories to transfer data or play 4K video.

The USB-C dock in Kensington’s new lineup of docks is the SD4600P USB-C universal dock that also comes with power delivery. Kensington said that this one will cost $200 and is compatible with Chrome OS, Mac OS and Windows. It is also ideal for charging laptops and transferring data between connected devices.

The third and the latest of the new docks is the SD1500 USB-C mobile dock, which will cost $90 and supports all major operating systems. Kensington said it is ideal for displaying 4K videos on a projector or peripheral monitor.

On the adapter side, Kensington has launched the $40 CV2000V USB-C HD VGA Adapter and the $45 CV4000H USB-C 4K HDMI Adapter.

Laptop raiser

Kensington has come up with SmartFit Laptop raisers that it believes will enable professionals to work more comfortably so that they can become more productive. The laptop raisers come in different version and the basic one costs $50 while the one that has a wireless charging pad added to it costs $100.
