On March27, 2018, iStar Inc. (“iStar”) announced the departure of Geoffrey G. Jervis, iStar’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer, effective March31, 2018, to pursue other opportunities.
In addition, iStar announced that Andrew C. Richardson will join the company on March31, 2018 to lead a focused portfolio of longer term land and development assets. He will also serve as iStar’s interim chief financial officer until a permanent chief financial officer is named. Mr.Richardson, age 51, served as the chief financial officer of The Howard Hughes Corporation from March2011 until October2016 when he left to pursue personal opportunities. He served as the chief financial officer and treasurer of NorthStar Realty Finance Corp. from 2006 to 2011. Prior to joining NorthStar, Mr.Richardson was an executive vice president and head of capital markets at iStar. Earlier in his career, he was also a certified public accountant with Ernst& Young LLP.
