i3D.net Taps Into Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR) For Security Of Its Virtualized Network

In protecting its network against DDoS attacks and other threats, i3D.net will engage Juniper Networks Inc. (NYSE:JNPR) Software-Defined Secure Networks platform. The chosen company is an industry leader in automated, scalable and secure networks. This is perhaps the reason why the Dutch managed-hosting provider feels safe to use it to enhance the security of its new virtualized network.

i3D.net is optimistic of reducing its capital expenses as well as use less time in deploying new sites, voice, video and data services.

i3D.net serves a broad range of customers

The company is known for its speedy deployment of servers globally. Its quick response through the use of Juniper’s vSRX is likely to bring agility and consistent security to company operations. Apparently, it is already an existing Juniper Networks customer but on its own, it has close to 31,000 customers who are relying on its 10,000 i3D.net servers in 16 data center locations worldwide.

Some of the mentionable customers include government institutions, healthcare facilities, sports institutions, and education among others. All these require high-performance, secure and flexible networks in serving their customers.

Koster writes, “Our network team scaled the vSRX to mitigate DDoS attacks and filter malicious traffic aimed at our customer’s services. Security and performance are our number one priorities and Juniper’s SDSN platform allow us to deliver.”

On the other hand, Jupiter says that its products are aimed at offering solutions and services, which transform the economics of networking. It also prides in its ability to co-innovate with its customers and partners in order to deliver performance and value. With all these, it is certain of being able to offer custom-built secure networking solutions to i3D.net.

In the meantime, i3D.net’s stock was trading at, while that of Jupiter Networks closed at $28.71 a fall of $0.49 or 1.68%.
