High Tide (CSE: HITI) (OTCQB: HTDEF) (FRA: 2LY) announced that its counterparties received approval for their Canna Cabana-branded stores in Ontario.

On April 12, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) approved and issued retail operator licenses to Steven Fry and Saturninus Partners and granted retail store authorizations to their respective stores Canna Cabana Hamilton and Canna Cabana Sudbury.

The two Canna Cabana-branded locations are expected to be opened on or before April 20, according to High Tide.

“Helping these Winners establish their locations has been a great experience and we all expect exciting things to happen once the doors of these retail stores are opened to the public,” High Tide President and CEO Raj Grover said in a statement.

Prior to the store openings, the AGCO will conduct a pre-opening inspection to ensure the two parties are ready to sell cannabis products to the public in accordance with the regulations and standards for cannabis retail stores.

High Tide Bullish on Cannabis Retailing

High Tide said it also is providing the assistance for the opening and operation of a third cannabis retail location on Yonge St. in Toronto, Ontario.

At the same time, In Saskatchewan, the company is progressing through the necessary steps to complete two pending cannabis retail business acquisitions.

Meanwhile, in Alberta, High Tide operates 11 existing Canna Cabana retail stores and are preparing to open the next 25 locations that are under various stages of development and construction.
