Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On January 10, 2017 a number of General Motors Company (GM)
executives presented at a conference hosted by Deutsche Bank and
provided an update on GM’s 2016 performance and accomplishments
and 2017 outlook. In connection with the presentations GM also
issued a press release. The press release and presentations related
thereto are attached as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2.
In accordance with General Instruction B.2 of Form 8-K, the
information in this Item 7.01, including Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2,
shall not be deemed filed for the purposes of Section 18 of the
Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, or otherwise subject

Item 8.01 Other Events
In addition to the existing $4.0 billion stock repurchase program
to be completed through the end of 2017, on January 10, 2017 GM
announced that its Board of Directors authorized the repurchase of
up to an additional $5.0 billion of GM common stock to be completed
at management’s discretion.
