On February 21, 2018, Hani El-Naffy announced his intention to retire from the Board of Directors of Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. (the “Company”), effective as of the end of his current term at the Company’s annual meeting of shareholders scheduled to occur on May 2, 2018. Mr. El-Naffy’s decision to retire was not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the Company. On February 23, 2018, the Company issued a press release regarding Mr. El-Naffy’s forthcoming retirement from the Board of Directors of the Company.
