Dewmar Searching For New CEO

Dewmar International BMC Inc. (OTCMKTS:DEWM) has announced that they have commenced efforts of restructuring its management team to spearhead the growth of its consumer brands by leveraging expansion opportunities for industrial hemp, the launch of a marijuana email website as well as the 2019 Canadian business objectives.

Launch of MarijuanaEmail.com

Dewmar announced recently the launch of the MarijuanaEmail.com which is a feature that allows interested users in Canada and The United States to sign up to receive emails from any of the company’s dispensaries in the national directory. The users will be able to receive information on new inventory, products, sales as well as the participating dispensaries.

However, a dispensary will be required to pay a nominal fee on joining the platform for them, to access contact information of the registered consumers. MarijuanaEmail.com acts as a bridge between consumers and dispensaries and it is the only platform across the globe that employs this as a business model. It is currently among the top five marijuana dispensary databases in the U.S. with approximately 90% of the country’s dispensaries.

Kush Cakes trademark protection in Canada

The company has made an application for trademark protection of their Kush Cakes brand in Canada because Dewmar foresees the brand standing among all cannabis products on the shelf in dispensaries across North America. There has been a word that several public and private companies have been considering licensing Kush Cakes brand in certain provinces in Canada.

With discussions ongoing on licensing of Kush Cakes brand the company has had positive reception in the Canadian market as a result of high interest for Kush cakes in 30 dispensaries. Dewmar believes that their Kush Cakes will stand out among all products in the cannabis industry.

2014 saw the potential in the hemp industry and they created United States Hemp Corporation that holds all its hemp assets. With the legalization of hemp, the company has been positioned to exploit the nascent cannabis market. Dewmar plans to spin off the subsidiary as they implement initiatives that can grow shareholder value.

The company is currently in search for the next CEO to replace Marco Moran to lead the company.
