On May 11, 2017, the Delaware Court of Chancery denied Anthem’s motion to enjoin Cigna from terminating the merger agreement but stayed its ruling pending Anthem’s determination as to whether to seek an appeal. The Chancery Court directed Anthem to inform it by noon on Monday, May 15, 2017 whether it intends to appeal the ruling.
