Resignation of Director
On January 18, 2017, Mr. Kenneth I. Juster, a Class II director and a designee of Warburg Pincus Private Equity VIII, L.P. (“Warburg Pincus”), provided notice of his resignation from the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (the “Company”), effective January 19, 2017. Mr. Juster’s decision to resign from the Board was for personal reasons not related to any disagreement with the Company relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices. Mr. Juster has resigned from Warburg Pincus to join the Trump Administration as the Deputy Assistant to the President for International Economic Affairs.
