On May 15, 2017, William R. Berman resigned from his position as President and Chief Operating Officer of AutoNation, Inc. (the “Company”), effective immediately. Mr. Berman will continue to serve as an employee of the Company in an advisory capacity through June 30, 2017. Mike Jackson, the Company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, has assumed all operating responsibilities on an interim basis until Mr. Berman’s replacement is named.
