On March 14, 2018, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of AMC Entertainment Holdings,Inc. (“AMC”) appointed Maojun (John) Zeng as the non-executive Chairman of the Board to fill the vacancy created with the resignation of Lin (Lincoln) Zhang from such position on March 12, 2018.Mr. Zeng is an employee of AMC’s controlling stockholder, Dalian Wanda Group Co., Ltd. (together with its affiliates, “Wanda”) and is the executive in charge of all of Wanda’s film activity, including Wanda Cinemas, Wanda Films, and the Qingdao Movie Metropolis.Mr. Zeng is not independent under rules of the New York Stock Exchange or within the meaning of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
