On July 30, 2018, Alliance Data Systems Corporation issued a press release announcing that its LoyaltyOne® Canadian loyalty business signed an agreement with Samsung Electronics Canada Inc., which operates as a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd to issue AIR MILES® Reward Miles to consumers in Canada when they use their AIR MILES Collector Cards via Samsung Pay.
