AK Steel Corporation announced that it has agreed with the United Auto Workers, Local 600 (“UAW Local 600”), which represents approximately 1,160 employees at Dearborn (MI) Works, to extend their current labor agreement for two months. As such, the current labor agreement with the UAW Local 600 will remain in effect until May 31, 2017.

AK Steel Holding Corporation is an integrated producer of flat-rolled carbon, stainless and electrical steels and tubular products through its subsidiary, AK Steel Corporation (AK Steel).
