Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATVI) has released a second animated video of its multiplayer shooter game title “Overwatch.”

The second video was released in preparation for the official launch of the title which is set to take place on May 24. The newly released video is called Alive, and it was released on the PlayStation blog. One of the things to expect from the game title as shown in the video is a new character known as The Widowmaker. Developers claim that she is the ideal character for gamers because of her sniper skills and merciless nature.

The Widowmaker (also known as Amélie LaCroix) has received a lot of attention in the new video. A good example is the grappling abilities demonstrated on the newly released video. The short video also gives a bit of detail about her background as part of giving gamers a taste of what is to come. Activision Blizzard has worked extensively on the game, or, at least, the preview. The firm is not expected to disappoint when it comes to the final product given the fact that it has become one of the top game developers in the industry.

The preview has created a lot of anticipation in the gaming community as gamers look forward to seeing what more the Widowmaker will offer. The game is a shooter game that is based on teams. There are two teams that are each made up of six heroes that battle it out in maps that are based on objectives. The game also provides many diverse and exotic locations.

Activision Blizzard has also revealed that it will launch an open beta of the game title on the PS4. The beta will be available on May 5 and will end on May 9. The beta will also allow access to all the maps as well as the 21 heroes in the game.
