ABM Industries, Inc.(NYSE:ABM) has been chosen as the cleaning services partner for Nationals Park, the residence of Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals.
Since starting in 2006, Nationals Park is regarded as one among the more sustainable as well as architecturally progressive sites in the nation. As per the multi-year agreement, ABM will take care of daily janitorial services. ABM was selected because of its experience and increasing portfolio of customers in the Sports & Entertainment market and the company’s GreenCare program.

Nationals Park was the first main stadium in America certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) structure, which is not surprising given the certification program originated in Washington DC. The GreenCare program of ABM will help Nationals Parks in its aim of lessening environmental impact by sustainable and cutting edge cleaning practices.
Senior Vice President Sports & Entertainment Jensen-Murphy said that ABM is honored to partner with the Nationals. The Nationals organization has established a vibrant franchise and the stadium displays that dynamic dimension. ABM seeks a long-term association with the Nationals and assists the franchise to give their fans a good game day environment.
In March, ABM Building Solutions was chosen by Anderson County School District 2 and District 3 in the state of South Carolina to put in place infrastructure enhancements via ABM’s Bundled Energy Solutions program. The tailor-made solution created by ABM will supply energy efficient enhancements and facility improvements to 11 schools within Anderson County. The assignments which started in fall 2015 and will finish in summer 2016 are expected to help Anderson School District 2 and District 3 reduce over $6 million in operating and energy expenditure over a period of 15 years.
ABM’s Bundled Energy Solutions Program is crafted as a financial solution to fulfill customer’s technical facility requirements and sustainability objectives. The aim for ABM is to decrease costs in a customer’s operating budget letting savings be reassigned to support vital facility requirements. Anderson County School District 3 will collaborate with ABM to deliver infrastructural enhancements to the former’s facilities.
