Change in Fiscal Year

The Board of Directors of Yield10 Bioscience, Inc., formerly
known as Metabolix, Inc. (the Corporation) has approved a change
in the Corporations name from Metabolix, Inc. to Yield10
Bioscience, Inc. The change in the Corporations name was effected
by the filing of a Certificate of Amendment, to Section 242 of
the Delaware General Corporation Law, on January 6, 2017. to this
Certificate of Amendment, Article First of the Corporations
Amended and Restated Certificate of Incorporation was amended to
read in its entirety as follows: FIRST: The name of the
Corporation is Yield10 Bioscience, Inc. The Corporation also
amended and restated its by-laws to reflect the new corporate
name.
Commencing on January 9, 2017, the Corporations common stock will
trade on The Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol YTEN. Its
CUSIP number has changed from 591018882 to 98585K102 in
connection with the name change.
